Russia Reports Injuries in Ukrainian Drone Attack
(MENAFN) A Ukrainian drone attack on the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don left 13 people injured Thursday, local officials confirmed.
Two of the victims are in serious condition and are receiving treatment at local hospitals, according to Yury Slyusar, the acting governor of the Rostov region. “Another 11 people with injuries are currently being delivered to the hospital. Information on the victims will be updated,” Slyusar announced on his Telegram channel.
The strike caused structural damage to several apartment buildings in the area, Slyusar said.
In a separate incident the same day, a Ukrainian drone reportedly hit a government facility in Russia’s western Belgorod region, causing only minor damage.
